A better knowledge of the factors predicting the risk of injury is relevant

“The most important part of injury prevention (…) is the optimal management of the training load” Matthew Buckthorpe PhD, Performance Science Consultant – Southampton Football Club

In order to optimize this management of the training load, a better knowledge of the factors predicting the risk of injury is necessary.

The development of ATHLETin is carried out in parallel with a research program which should contribute to improving the understanding of these mechanisms and allow the development of a decision support tool which, using adequate statistical tools, will reduce the risk of injury and optimize sports performance capacity.

PhD thesis

  • Develop an integrative model to measure the impact of the athlete’s mutifactorial solicitations on the risk of injury
  • Understand the respective roles of factors related to training in the unavailability of the Athlete
  • Understand the weight of training in the unavailability of the Athlete

The method

This information can be provided under the guise of signing an NDA.

The population

300 Athletes analyzed daily for 4 years in collaboration with training centers.
